Some of which I've had to unlearn. Others of which I've found useful. Exposition is one of those less is more rules. I know I have a problem with both sides :) I tend to go in cycles - I'll give way too much info, and then not enough - and it only gets harder to tell which is appropriate the more you revise a piece.
