The miracle is this: the more we share the more we have.
-Leonard Nemoy
One thing I've noticed about writers: they share. Information, advice, encouragement, you name it.
There are far too many helpful blogs to mention, but here are a few where I've received amazing information:
Many thanks to each blogger out there in cyberspace who takes the time to post great stuff. I appreciate each of you!
Aww, thank you so much! I love helping others so this shoutout means the world to me. It means I've helped!
ReplyDeleteAw thank your Julie. It means tons to me to know that my rambling helps someone. Big hugs and have a great weekend. I really, really appreciate you, too!
ReplyDeleteAngela @ The Bookshelf Muse
Heather and Angela, you help out BIG TIME!
ReplyDeleteYes, we do have a wonderful supportive community. Hugs...
ReplyDeleteThanks Julie! We are privileged to be a part of such a wonderful community of writers. It means so much to us that you appreciate our blog! We enjoy yours, too :)

My mother thinks I "share" TOO much! I kind of make her nervous...
ReplyDeleteLove the quote.
I agree that by sharing we multiply. Crazy, but true. Thanks Julie for appreciating that.

love this! and you're SO right -- these are excellent links in an amazing community of writers!
ReplyDeletethanks so much for putting it out there :D
Tahereh, it truly is an amazing community. Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI used to think it was only the mystery writers' community that was like that, but since I started my blog and began to connect with writers of fantasy, horror, YA, women's fiction, and everything in between, I've discovered exactly what you've said in your post. We can learn more online from our blogging writer friends than we could ever learn from books.
ReplyDeletePatricia, you're so right. Amazing how generous everyone is.
ReplyDeleteJulie,
ReplyDeleteThank YOU! I'm going to check out the listed blogs. I read your post below and I can't believe that Gone With the Wind was rejected that many times! It is such a great book and MOVIE! That gives me some hope and courage. ;)
It's probably true of other blogs, but I've found writer blogs to be very open and sharing. I've not only learned a lot, I've made a lot of friends.
