It's A Wonderful Life

The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other. ~Burton Hillis

Writers are lucky. We have our regular families, and we have a writing family.

This year it's been fun witnessing blogger buddies publish books, snag agents, start and finish books, and support each other.

As we near the end of 2010, it's a great time to look back on our accomplishments. Some were large, some were small, but each one is worth celebrating.

The writing life is a wonderful life, and I'm thankful I've become a part of yours.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

  11. Aw, I love It's a Wonderful Life:)

Beautiful post, Julie. I'm so grateful to be part of your writing family and for you to be part of mine. God knows I'd go insane if it weren't for people like you who will take the time out of their already-busy day to listen to whatever nonsense I feel the need to bring up.

Hopefully next year is much better. Thanks for being there for me through the good and bad. *hugs*

Hope you had a great Christmas and Happy New Years!
    Always,
    Lindsey

  14. How sweet, Julie. I'm terribly sentimental about things, and one of the best parts about this first year of blogging, networking and being published has been all of the wonderful people such as yourself that I now call my friends. I'd really like to think, should I one day decide to take a time-out with all of this writing, that I would stay in touch, encouraging and rooting on everyone else.
    Thanks for posting,
    -Jimmy
