The web site www.onlinedegrees.net posts a list of "101 Habits of Highly Effective Writers." As I read through the list, I'm relieved that I do practice most of these habits (does 51% equal most?) There is much room for improvement!
How about you? How many of these habits do you practice? Any others you'd like to add to this list?
For now, I'll stick with advice #8 and prioritize. Better shut down my internet and get back to my novel!
I'm afraid to look! Oh - there's another surprise for you over at my blog, so stop by when you get a chance!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great list! It deserves a bookmark, thanks! As you can probably tell, #30 is not my strong suit... I use exclamation points WAY too much! :)
ReplyDeleteMe too, Amy!!
ReplyDeleteThx for the list Julie and also for stopping by my blog :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ms. Slushpile! Your blog will be a go-to for me for sure!
ReplyDeleteGreat list!
ReplyDeleteI'm horrible at #1 (keep a schedule) - with a toddler and a full time job that ones a bit tricky...and when I do find time #7 (prioritize) is tricky. The blog addiction sucks alot of it. Must work on that. :-)
Thanks for the list!
Hi Kristi! I just read your profile on your blog...we have a lot in common!
ReplyDeleteBanned complain !! Complaining only causes life and mind become more severe. Enjoy the rhythm of the problems faced. No matter ga life, not a problem not learn, so enjoy it :)
