Summer Vacay

Friends, I'll be on vacation with my family for a few days. I'll return to the blog on July 31st. Enjoy the summer sun. Or the shade. Better yet...a hammock in the shade :)

The Summer of Crossing Lines

Praise for The Summer of Crossing Lines: "This story is so engrossing that I felt myself there in the story every step of the way. The characters are well developed with a real life quality that is difficult to find in modern literature. The story is fast paced, but does not sacrifice plot to keep the readers attention. This is a definite must read for anyone who likes a little suspense and mystery in their novels. My only complaint is that I had a few late nights reading because I couldn't put this book down."

The Boy Who Loved Fire

Praise for The Boy Who Loved Fire: "Manny is a boy who is self-centered and selfish, but who is given a chance to change his destiny, much in the same way as Scrooge. Musil cleverly brings her visiting spirits up-to-date for readers in this century and increases the tension to the very end of the story. Slowly, she brings the reader to empathize with this teen who must come to grips with the tragedy he unwittingly caused. While the story centers on a teen boy, it has an Everyman aspect that teen girls will also be caught up in."
